In January 2016, adidas released its first NMD R1 Primeknit sneaker. Featuring a gray textured colorway, Primeknit material runs along the upper of the shoe creating a disruptive graphic. The sneaker also features an elastic sock collar and all black EVA plugs. "The Brand With the 3 Stripes" slogan is written on the heel label.
